Sess

Sess is one of the most trendy night clubs you could go to in Istanbul these days. I would recommend that you make a reservation and go after midnight. It's very crowded on Fridays and Saturdays - and Tuesdays, actually. The DJ plays only Turkish music and it's very popular among locals. A bit pricey. It's located in the heart of "Nisantasi" which is commonly called the "Manhattan" of Istanbul. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Having dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant followed by drinks (and dancing) at Sess is the common practice. Abdi Ipekci Street is decorated with lights for the New Year celebrations - don't miss it.
